Delhi Book Club reads with JNU Reading Circle. A s Delhi Book Club reads with JNU Reading Circle. A short clip from a beautiful evening spent sitting under the blooming bougainvillea, sipping adrak chai, and listening to a spectacular narration of the book “Kitne Pakistan” a Hindi novel by Kamleshwar. The book is a satire on the sectarianism and communalism following the painful partition of India and the early years post independence.

In a fictional court various historical characters are brought to the witness’ box and asked to narrate their version of history, raising questions about the true motives of the people who make decisions on behalf and for common people.

Special thanks to Ph.D Scholar Harendra Sheshma for the crisp and lively narration.
