Aim of the Project
- Encouraging a reading habit among the young and vibrant village children
- Forming a library management system in the village school
- Collecting folktales from the village elders
- Holding educational movie sessions with the children
Methodology-
- Division of all children into groups based on the level of reading ability
- Making use of reading aloud, play-acting, formation of skits, competitions
- Multi-media tools used with the younger children to capture their interest
- Local games used to keep the sessions lively
- Regular rallies by the interns and children to spread awareness and gather maximum attendance
